Take part in a project by the Head and Neck Cancer Centre at Guy's Hospital
Have you experienced Head or Neck Cancer and are you interested in helping others facing this journey?
A cross Arts and Science team has been commissioned to help with a fund raising project for the Head and Neck Cancer Centre at Guy's.
There will be workshops in which patients both past and present are invited to discuss their experiences and reflect on how the Centre has helped them deal with the challenges they faced or are facing. Comments and ideas expressed will eventually be incorporated into a film that celebrates the work of the Centre. (The workshops themselves will not filmed).
These outcomes may also be shared with the translation unit of the Equality, Diversity and Human Rights department, who help patients using over 200 hundred languages.
You will be invited to a single hour long workshop, with no more than 10 people at a time, taking place at Guy's in late June / early July (dates to be confirmed).
Strict patient confidentiality will be observed and at the end of the session you will asked if you are happy to have your contribution incorporated into the finished project.
Please contact Anne, either by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 07798783126.
She will be happy to answer queries and provide further details.
