07/12/2017

The National Institute For Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) are currently recruiting patients, as well as their unpaid carers and their advocates to join two committees:

1) Care before during and after an operation guideline committee: for people with an understanding of receiving care before, during and after an operation and the issues important to patients and unpaid carers.
Recruitment is open until 5pm on Wednesday 13 December 2017.
See recruitment advert for more details.

2) Venous thromboembolic diseases guideline committee: for people with an understanding of either deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism and the issues important to patients and their unpaid carers.

See recruitment advert for more details.
Recruitment is open until 5pm on Monday 18 December 2017.

Who are NICE looking for to fill these roles?

NICE would welcome an application from those who have recent experience or knowledge of these topics and are able to reflect the views, experiences and needs of the public to ensure they are included in the development of these guidelines. You need to be able to contribute effectively in a formal committee setting. Members are paid a fee to attend meetings and travel expenses are covered.
