Recent changes at Camberwell Sexual Health Centre

14/06/2018

Government funding cuts to public services, has had a knock on effect to the services provided by Camberwell Sexual Health Centre (CSHC).

Maintaining high quality of service on a smaller budget, means some changes have to be made. Changes include:

New opening times:
Monday and Tuesday 8am-3pm
Wednesday 12pm-7pm
Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm
(Closed on public holidays)

Online services
CSHC will continue to offer online testing for STIs and will also be launching an online contraception service for women to access the contraceptive pill – either for the first time or as a repeat prescription.

More appointments
These will be available at the same times that the walk-in clinic is open.

Virtual clinics

CSHC will be trialling 'virtual' clinics; which are consultations over the phone supported by STI testing or contraception that can be ordered online. These phone consultations will be available outside of opening hours, so you will still be able contact them for help even when the clinic is closed.
