How do we use what you tell us?
We compare your feedback with what we hear from other people and use it to investigate areas where there may be problems. We pass on anonymous feedback to health and social care services, and the organisations which design and pay for them.
Do we share your personal data?
Only with your consent. We will get in touch with you if:
• we think this sharing your data will help resolve your case or improve services
• there is very good lawful reason to make the disclosure - for example, to protect a vulnerable person from abuse or harm.
How do we store your information?
We will only store information that is relevant and we anonymise it for storage wherever we can. We use it in fulfilling our public tasks such as signposting you to support, and working to improve the quality of health and social care. If the data we store includes legally defined 'sensitive data' (which includes health and disability data) we will ensure that we anonymise it or have your consent to keep it. There may be exceptional circumstances where we will keep this sensitive data without consent but we must have a lawful basis for doing so.
