Free 'Healthy Weight' training initiative for health and non-health professionals


Southwark Healthy Weight Training, is a completely free training initiative for health and non-health professionals working with the public in Southwark that helps engage people on the subject of weight sensitively.


Southwark Council, in collaboration with the College of Contemporary Health (CHH), has launched a

  • absolutely free (!)
  • fully online
  • CPD accredited

training for healthcare and non-healthcare workers.

300 professionals across the borough have already enrolled on the course.

The course content includes: causes of unhealthy weight, what the latest data is telling us and local referral pathways. You will also practice brief intervention techniques.
