Spread the Word! - Dementia forum for African and African Caribbean Leaders

Southwark Pensioners Centre are trying to spread the word about dementia, the memory service and get help with research into dementia as it affects African and African Caribbean Elders.

They would like to work with African and African Caribbean Leaders and warmly invite you to their Spread the Word Southwark Pensioners Forum chaired by Russell Profitt, Chair, Golden Oldies Walworth.

This forum will discuss dementia and the specific risks to the African and African Caribbean community. It will also cover specific research being undertaken to find out what stops people getting the help they need and how could services be improved for people from African and African Caribbean communities.

Speakers and researchers from the Memory Service of the South London and Maudsley Trust and Brunel University will provide insight and seek your help to raise awareness among the African and African Caribbean community.
