Learning to Care: Dementia

The Learning to Care project at Bell House has been set up to help educate people on how to care for and support their elderly family, friends and neighbours through a series of talks and short films.
- Involved in caring for an elderly family member?
- Wanting to know more about how to support an elderly person in your life to stay in their own home and maintain their independence for as long as possible?
- An older member of the community wanting advice on how to continue to live independently in a safe manner?
- Eager to learn more about the symptoms of dementia and services available to offer support?
Bell House invite you to their workshop focusing on dementia.
On the day:
There will opportunities for panel and audience discussion. You will also leave with a handout signposting useful national and local resources for dementia.
You will hear from hear from Alexa Longman, Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialist for South London and Maudsley NHS and Tracey Wells, Services Manager for the Alzheimers' Society

The event will include Doors open at 9.15am for a light breakfast with talks starting at 10am.
Speakers will finish at 1pm.
