Help us shape young people’s mental health services in South East London
Date: 24 Jul 2019 - 15:30 to 17:30
Location: Garry Weston Library at Southwark Cathedral, London Bridge, London, SE1 9DA
Our Healthier South East London (OHSEL – the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership) is organising a series of borough based engagement events and topic based engagement event to shape the future of health services in Southwark and across south east London
In January, the NHS set out its plans for the next 10 years across the whole of England. The plan shows how extra money for the NHS will be spent to help people.
It is based on what the public and NHS staff thought the NHS needs to make care better; more easily accessible and close to where they live; and to get better at helping people to stay well.
OHSEL now need to consider what this will look like in Southwark and South East London.
They need your help to make some big decisions on what this means for our area.
The Southwark engagement event take place on 24 July from 12 noon to 2.30 pm in the Garry Weston Library at Southwark Cathedral (with light refreshments from 11.30).
The focus of this meeting is Children and young people's mental health. You will be discussing questions including: should GPs be trained to help young people in how they use social media?
